Brian Cross

Biography

Brian Cross, producer, DJ and business man, was born and raised in Barcelona. He entered the DJ world at a very early age and his success since then is still growing. His first ever remix, Frank Trax’s "Alchemy" edited by the label Tempo Music, triggered his career not only in his native land but across Europe and South America.

His outstanding reputation cemented when Amnesia Ibiza named him one of the resident DJs in 2003, taking him to tour throughout North America, South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

At this point, Brian’s abilities as a DJ and producer could no longer go unnoticed and it wasn’t long before Armin Van Buuren and Robbie Rivera invited him to play at their respective events, Armada Night and Juicy Ibiza, impressing the most passionate clubbers of the White Isle.

Soon he was working closely with Armin’s label Armada, signing "4U" as a single release, touring internationally with them and collaborating on new works and compilations. By 2005, he had more than made his mark and was asked to go into the studio with the legendary top DJ Marco V, to create the new compilation series "Amnesia DJ Sessions". The album won excellent worldwide reviews from press and fans. It is no wonder why he was awarded by Deejay Magazine for Best International DJ 2005.

With the release of "Amensia Dj Sessions Volume 2" in 2006, Brian once again experienced huge acclaim and commercial success. September of the same year saw his track "Over my Skin" hit. Remixes flooded in from Robbie Rivera, David Vendetta, ORGAN and Elastica. Signed to Juicy Music USA, it was licensed across the board including Universal Music’s HIT division, underlining Brian’s status as one of the hot new producers to keep an eye on.

In 2008, the single "Paradise" was released, consolidating his prestigious career on an international level.

During the last 3 years, he has toured in more than 53 countries making him the most famous spanish DJ worldwide. With Brian holding onto a packed international diary, in 2010 he unleashed his most powerful weapon with the concept "Popstar by Brian Cross" stirring up the current electronic music scene by sharing stage with prestigious pop/dance artists. Still today, this party gathers during the summer season more than 6.000 people every Sunday in Ibiza @ Amnesia.

Deejay Magazine Spain has awarded him as "Best Promoter in Ibiza 2010" for his event "Popstar" held at the best world famous club Amnesia Ibiza.

His professionalism has taken him to remix tracks for artists like David Bisbal, the grammy awarded singer Miguel Bosé and the number one DJ in the world Armin Van Buuren among others. This year, Brian has signed with Sony Music and will be releasing his first artist album in September 2011. This album will contain tracks featuring some of the most important pop artists, positioning him as one of the rising stars of the dance music scene.
